People at work take themselves too seriously.
They try to be efficient and save as many keystrokes as possible. "Thanks" becomes "thx," or "tx" if they're in a real rush. "Please" becomes "pls." But anyone at the bottom of the totem pole knows that "thx" doesn't mean "thanks" and that "pls" doesn't mean "please."
The best was when one of my bosses wrote told us to have a happy "tx-giving." true story. i don't even know what that means.
Anyways, hope that you all had a great thanksgiving. Great seeing many of you at h-y.
